Walla Walla Vintners

2003 Cordon Grove Vineyard Cuvee Cuvee means “blend” did I mention this winery is know for blending? I thought so! I have a few bottles of this wine, and drink one every few months, just to see how the wine is aging. And what do you know, each bottle continues to get better and better, maybe I should have got two cases! The Cordon Grove Vineyard is located in Prosser, Washington and this wine features a blend of 53% Merlot and 42% Cab Franc with a splash of Malbec from Pepper Bridge. With a hint of Vanilla (American oak), this wine has one of the best finishes of a red wine I can recall. This is a wine that also speaks very loudly of what the future brings from this winery. A great, huge red blend that will age and is very good from the moment they are made. Put a couple bottles away, and forget about them.
