Chappellet Vineyards and Sonoma Loeb with Phillip Titus and Cyril Chappellet

Chappellet wines are crafted to embody the terroir and the intensity of fruit that have made Pritchard Hill famous. In the winery, renowned winemaker Phillip Corallo-Titus—who has been guiding Chappellet’s wine making program since 1990—individually ferments and ages lots from numerous vineyard blocks to maintain their distinctive character.I have known Cyril Chappellet for many years and love the wines and regard Phillip Titus as one of the best wine makers in The Napa Valley.Napa Valley is famous for big, bold reds and Chappellet is setting the standard for this world class wine region.I have a feature with the Pritchard Hill Cab Franc to share with you first, and I also have a treat. Chappellet Vineyard & Winery is proud to announce the acquisition of Sonoma County-based Sonoma-Loeb wines. Sonoma-Loeb was founded by Ambassador John L. Loeb Jr., who began growing grapes in the Russian Riverbend and Alexander Valley regions of Sonoma County in 1973. Sonoma-Loeb produces an acclaimed portfolio of wines that includes Sonoma County and Carneros Chardonnays and a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. For more than 20 years, Sonoma-Loeb wines have been made at the Chappellet winery on Pritchard Hill by acclaimed winemaker, Phillip Corallo-Titus, who is also the longtime winemaker for Chappellet. Titus will continue making wines for both Sonoma-Loeb and Chappellet, and production for both portfolios will remain at the Chappellet wine making facility.Join us as we pour you a glass of these wines and enjoy the story of Chappellet and Sonoma Loeb.Cheers!
