Boonville Hotel/Anderson Valley/"Simplicity By Design"
Anderson valley has been getting lots of press lately for it's great Pinot Noirs and Sparkling wines. The Boonville Hotel is a must when planning any excursion to this part of Northern California.Fifteen unique rooms, from family suite to just-for-two. top floor of the hotel or set apart. “simplicity by design” throughout. The rooms are unique and really I have a favorite....(room)..."The Studio" just takes you away, and back in time.I loved the back patio and the design of the split level living room and bedroom is perfect Table 128, the restaurant at the Boonville hotel, serves family style, prix fixe meals that delight and satisfy. menus inspired by whim and season.I'm planning on a return to enjoy the town and valley during summer,so I can try their beautiful dinners and amazing food and wine pairings.A family style prix fixe restaurant serving dinner by reservation
Thursday through Monday nights April through November, and Friday through Sunday December through march.
“family style” means dinner arrives on platters to be passed around the table. “prix fixe” means there is one price for the evening. we serve 3-5 course dinners with menu price ranging from $38-$58. the menus are set & posted online every Wednesday for the upcoming weekend. With all the different wineries to discover we want to open many wines, and enjoy the food from this world class restaurant.A lot of thought into our their approach. after twenty years of cooking, they want to combine the best of what was with the best of what can be to offer an eating experience like no other.Their mission statement follows...
Our mission statement is continually evolving, at this point more a collection of inspirational writings from chefs and food gurus who inspire us. we take ideas we like and follow them as long as they fit, adjust or abandon them when they don’t. it’s working so far, and the response has confirmed we’re onto something folks like.
it’s gratifying to try something new and watch it grow. we hope you’ll be part of it.I look forward to my next visit to this beautiful valley, and the town of Boonville.Wine tasting, hikes in the redwoods, swimming in the river, a little shopping or just some peace and quiet. good times at a country pace. I may never leave!!For now let's check out a few of the great features with the wine makers of Anderson Valley. We will continue our features with the Boonville Hotel in the very near future, but for now, let's hit the road and head up valley!Cheers!
