A Dry Creek Family Tradition, A. Rafanelli Winery ! Since the early 1900’s our family has been growing grapes and making wine in the Dry Creek Valley. Four generations later we remain dedicated to carrying on our family tradition. is still family owned and operated, and that means production is limited. The focus here has always been quality not quantity! Our family takes pride in working hard to produce consistently exceptional wines every year, specializing in some of the finest Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. our first wine is the 2019 Zinfandel. A bright and lively vintage with instantly charming aromas of freshly picked raspberries, blackberries and cherries. Hints of cinnamon and star anise add a playful zing of spice to this elegantly styled zin. With a softness on the palate and supple tannins, this wine is enjoyable now in its vibrant youth, yet its classic character will allow for it to mature further. 14% Petite Sirah We will also feature the 2018 Merlot. Leading with aromas of ripe plum and rhubarb pie, this smooth luscious wine follows up with dark chocolate, and hints of bay leaf and sarsaparilla. The delectable tannins and long rich finish will engage your palate and promise further development of flavors in the cellar. This wine is 19% Cabernet Sauvignon.Speaking of Cabernet..... Our third feature will be the 2018 Cabernet from A. Rafanelli. 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon This wonderfully rich and complex wine shows youthful restraint. Subtle hints of huckleberry and black currant mingle with nuances of allspice, dried herbs, and sweet tobacco. Strong in structure and well balanced with focused tannins proves its aging potential. This wine is 10% Merlot. Our restaurant feature is also a local world class chef and menu. This was an evening to remember and...Repeat! Chef Dustin Valette began his restaurant career at the age of thirteen washing dishes at Catelli’s in his hometown of Geyserville, California. Two years later he took an apprenticeship at Chateau Souverain, a Francis Ford Coppola Estate, where he worked under Executive Chef Martin Courtman, – beginning the twenty-plus year culinary journey toward his dream of opening a restaurant dedicated to showcasing the rich bounty and beautiful ingredients of his Sonoma County roots. Aaron Garzini began his restaurant career at just 14 years of age in the kitchen of Catelli’s, a beloved restaurant in his hometown of Geyserville, California. A few years later, Aaron’s brother, Dustin Valette, would follow, starting his culinary career in the kitchen of the same restaurant. Those early years began a trajectory leading the two brothers back to their roots with extensive experience and honed talents. While the experience sparked Dustin’s passion to become a chef, Aaron set his sights on the front of the house. Having an incredible passion for memorable food and beverage experiences, Harry Bryan is the perfect addition to work alongside executive chef, Nathan Davis and owners Aaron Garzini and Dustin Valette. Harry re-joins the Valette team as General Manager with over 20 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry. Harry comes to the property from award winning Timber Cove Resort on the Sonoma Coast where he was the Food & Beverage Director.
